🏃♂️ Race Overview
Registration is open for next years Parade 5k run!
Join us for a 5K run (3.1 mile) and walk through beautiful Alameda starting at 9:00AM, just before the historic 4th of July Parade. This run benefits the Midway Shelter for Women and Children. We are working closely with the City of Alameda on both the Parade and run so that we can bring a safe and fun experience for both runners and spectators.
📍 Race Course
The race starts at 1420 Park Street in front of Lauren’s Closet and follows the Alameda parade route ending at Haight and Webster. The scenic course is completely closed to traffic as you run past spectators waiting for the parade to start. Your run will finish just past the parade judging booth. This year we are going to have access to Haight st (current location of the Tues/Sat farmers market). Stick around and enjoy post race water, Gatorade hydration, plenty of snacks and beer donated from Faction Brewery.
🗓️ Important Information
We currently do not have a way back to the run start. Please plan accordingly. If something changes we will update our race pages.
📅 Schedule
- Packet Pick up: Laurens Closet 1420 Park st: 11:00am - 5:00pm 7/1 thru 7 /3 (Tuesday - Thursday)
- Packet Pick up: Race Start 1420 Park st: 7:30am - 8:30am 7/4/25
- Race start: 8:30am New Time
- Parade start: 10:00am
🎉 Post Run Experience
Our post run expo with music will be the best place to watch the Parade as it passes down Webster.
🏅 Finisher Rewards
ALL runners will receive a custom finisher medal and T-shirt while supplies last.
