5th Annual Summer Heat 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️Race Overview

It's that time of year again! Fit Together Fitness RC is excited about the return of the 5th annual Summer Heat 5K run/walk! We cordially invite y'all to join us on the Old Fort King Trail for another adventurous trot, down by the majestic, Flint Creek. We will get to experience all the beautiful scenery and wildlife the Lord has placed in this magnificence area of the woods. Just past Fellowship Baptist Church in lovely Thonotosassa. We will have the privilege to share the area with its inhabitants.

🦅Race Details

• Date: 2025-05-31
• Location: 13515 US Hwy 301, Thonotosassa, FL
• Awards: First overall male and female, Masters, male and female, top 3 participants in their respective category in 10 year age groups.
• Finisher Medals: All participants will receive a race medal.

🌿Course Information

Please be aware of wildlife, uneven terrain, hills, rocks, and water. Any and all of nature should be admired and respected but always pay attention and be cautious.

📋Safety Guidelines

• Headphones: No headphones allowed to ensure you can hear directions in case of emergency or other information from course officials.
• Strollers and Pets: There are no strollers or pets allowed on course during the 5K event.
• Child Policy: Any younger children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Apologies: Sorry for any inconvenience.
