4th Annual 5K for Foster Kids

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Purpose: In the state of Florida, more than 1,000 children each month are removed from their homes and placed in the child welfare system. While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, we believe we can all play a part in helping children and families in need.
• Invitation: That’s why we’re personally inviting you to join us for our 5K for Foster Kids race!
• Collaboration: All Pro Dad is partnering with the Florida Department of Children and Families to celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month in May.
• Participation: You can do your part to raise awareness by participating in our 5K or family fun run.

🎟️ Registration Details

• Cost: Registration for the 5K chipped timed event is $35.
• Inclusions: Registration includes an event t-shirt, custom finisher medal, personalized race bib with RFID timing chip, and awards for top 3 overall and age groups.

📅 Event Schedule

• Friday May 16, 2025: Pre-Race Packet Pickup at Fit2Run - International Plaza, 2223 N Westshore Blvd - Space B230, Tampa, FL 33607, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
• Saturday May 17, 2025: The event will take place at Gadsden Park, 6901 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33611.
• 6:30 am: Registration and Packet Pickup Open.
• 7:00 am: Music and fun begin, followed by announcements and the National Anthem at 7:20 am, and the start of the 5K for Foster Kids at 7:30 am.
• Fun Run: Kids 100 yard dash fun run at 8:30 am, with an awards ceremony to follow at 8:45 am.
