4th Annual 5K for Foster Kids

🎉 Event Overview

• Purpose: In the state of Florida, more than 1,000 children each month are removed from their homes and placed in the child welfare system. While not everyone is called to foster or adopt, we believe we can all play a part in helping children and families in need.
• Invitation: That’s why we’re personally inviting you to join us for our 5K for Foster Kids race!
• Partnership: All Pro Dad is partnering with the Florida Department of Children and Families to celebrate Foster Care Awareness Month in May.
• Participation: You can do your part to raise awareness by participating in our 5K or family fun run.

🏃‍♂️ Registration Details

• Cost: Registration for the 5K chipped timed event is $35.
• Inclusions: Registration includes an event t-shirt, custom finisher medal, personalized race bib with RFID timing chip, and awards for top 3 overall and age groups.

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup:

  • Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm

• Race Day:
  • When: Saturday May 17, 2025
  • Where: Gadsden Park, 6901 S MacDill Ave, Tampa, FL 33611
  • Schedule:
    • 6:30 am - Registration and Packet Pickup Open
    • 7:00 am - Music and fun begin
    • 7:20 am - Announcements and National Anthem
    • 7:30 am - Start of the 5K for Foster Kids
    • 8:30 am - Kids 100 yard dash fun run
    • 8:45 am - Awards Ceremony
