RMHCNE Women's Classic 5k Road Race and 3k Walk

• Type: Certified, flat and fast 5k (3.1 miles) and 3k (1.8 miles) courses from the Brown University Stadium through the scenic and historic East Side of Providence.

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: Available through Thursday, October 9.
• In-person Registration: 8:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 11 and from 8:00 am to 9:30 am on race day.
• Fees: $28 through September 8, $34 from September 9 to October 9, $40 from October 10 to October 12 (in person only), $10 for students.

📅 Race Day Schedule

• 8:00 am: Race day registration opens.
• 8:45 am: Kids Races (Download the waiver).
• 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Health + Wellness Fair.
• 10:00 am: Start of RMHCNE Women’s Classic 5K Run and 3K Walk.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Shirts and Goody Bags: To the first 400 participants to pick up their bib numbers.
• Saturday, October 11: 8:30 am – 11:00 am, Rhode Runner, 657 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
• Sunday, October 12 (Race Day): 8:00 am – 9:30 am, Brown University Stadium, 400 Elmgrove Avenue, Providence, RI 02906.

🏆 Team and Individual Prizes

• Team Competition: Teams must consist of three or more women. Cash prizes to top three teams: $300 for first, $200 for second, $100 for third.
• Individual Awards: Cash prizes to the top five overall finishers in the 5k: $300 for 1st, $200 for 2nd, $100 for 3rd, $75 for 4th, $50 for 5th.
• Non-Binary Category: Prizes for top three finishers in the 5k.
• Age Group Prizes: For ages 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, etc. 1st place receives $50, and 2nd-5th receive merchandise/gift certificates.

🚫 Rules and Regulations

• No Dogs: Dogs will not be allowed on the course or in the gates of the track.
• No Strollers for 5k: 5k participants will not be allowed to push strollers during the event.
• 3K Strollers: 3k walkers with strollers must start at the back of the starting area.
