🏃♀️ Miles for Maura 2025
The KP High School SADD chapter will host its annual Miles for Maura fundraising event, a 5K Run/Walk in memory of Maura D. Howard on Sunday, May 4.
💔 About Maura
- Date of Tragedy: On July 31, 1994
- Circumstance: Maura was killed by a drunk driver who was speeding recklessly down the highway.
- Impact: Because of this destructive decision, life for Team Howard and Maura's extended loving family and friends has never been the same.
- Mission: Honoring Maura's memory and spreading awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving.
🎓 Scholarship Program
Spreading awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving through scholarships for graduates of KP, Maura's alma mater, is a critical piece of the mission. Thank you so much for your participation.
💰 Participant Fee
- Ages 0-5: Free
- Ages 6-18: $10
- Ages 18+: $25
