🏃‍♂️ Race Schedule

• Hog Wild Kids Fun Run: Starts at 8:00 AM
• 5K Start Time: Starts at 8:30 AM

🐄 Race Course

• Starting Point: The course starts at the Fedele Family Plaza outside the Knobloch Family Farmhouse at the SM&NC.
• Animal Encounters: It winds through Heckscher Farm, passing various animals like cows, horses, llamas, goats, and donkeys.
• Scenic Views: The route loops around Bendel Pond and heads up to Bendel Mansion, showcasing Henri Bendel's original vision, including lion statues and an Italian Renaissance fountain.
• Two Loops: The course features a two-loop design to ensure participants can enjoy the experience twice.

🎉 Hog Wild Kids Fun Run

• Distance: Join us for a .3-mile fun run through the Stamford Museum & Nature Center’s Heckscher Farm!
• Starting Location: Start at the Farmhouse Plaza and run past our cows and goats, winding down the path next to our horses.
• Turnaround Point: Wave hello to our Guinea Hogs as you near the turnaround.
• Finish Line: Finish by passing Petunia, the Scottish Highland cow on your way to the finish line. Kids of all ages are welcome!

👩‍👧 Childcare Opportunity

• Drop-off Service: If a parent or parents want to run in the 5K, SM&NC will have their education staff running a kids' drop-off with a fun planned activity.
• Eligibility: Children must be potty trained and 5 or older.
• Sign-Up: A signup sheet and waiver will be sent to those who would like to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
• Limited Spots: There is a limit of 15 children, and spots will fill up fast, so please take advantage of this great opportunity soon!
