🎨 Event Overview

• Organizer: The Caldwell Classic Color Run is organized by students from the National Honor Society and their teachers at Saint Pope John Paul II Preparatory School.
• Purpose: We are coming together as a community to raise funds for The Jason Foundation, who calls Hendersonville their home.
• Mission: The Jason Foundation is dedicated to the prevention of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs that equip young people, educators/youth workers and parents with the tools and resources to help identify and assist at-risk youth.

🏃‍♂️ About the Race

• Format: The Color Run is a fivish-kilometer, untimed event.
• Experience: Participants are doused from head to toe in different colored powder while wearing white at the starting line and finishing plastered in color.
• Alternative Routes: If looking like a box of crayons is not your cup of tea, we will have routes for you to forego the color and enjoy the sights of those passing through the color stations.
• Community Celebration: It is truly a magnificent way to celebrate life with people from our community.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Bib Pickup: Participants will be able to pick up their bibs, t-shirt, and race bag on Thursday 4/24 during school lunch or on race day by 8:00am at the Football Stadium concession stand.
• Late Registration: Late registrations will be available on-site, but we cannot guarantee t-shirts are available.
• Arrival Time: Please arrive at JPII by 8:40 am at the latest: the starting line will be at the lower soccer field.
• Raffle Opportunity: Go to the "raffle table" to enter your name for the opportunity to win awesome prizes!

🛑 Race Guidelines

• Course Conditions: Be prepared to walk/run on different surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and grass. The course is not friendly for traditional strollers.
• Pet Policy: We do not recommend bringing dogs since the color is not good for them: if you do, please take the color-less route.
• Staining Warning: If you choose the color route, your clothes will stain, particularly if you wear white. Bring sheets or towels to protect your car seats.
• Safety Gear: PLEASE WEAR EYEGLASSES AND A BANDANA TO COVER EYES AND MOUTH WHILE PASSING THROUGH COLOR STATIONS.
