Run Wild 5K & Kids run- 2025

🎉 Event Overview

• Date: Friday, July 4, 2025
• Location: 1141 Uptown Park Blvd, Houston, TX
• Hosted by: Runner's High Club
• Benefit: Special Olympics Texas & Girls on the Run Greater Houston

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• 5K Start Time: 7:30 AM
• Kids Run Start Time: 7:10 AM (approximately 0.6 miles)
• Participants Receive: Custom bib, awesome finisher medal, sunglasses, chip timed, cool tech tank (male/female cut), running socks, free finish video, and new Magnolia Brewing Co beer.
• Snacks Provided: Snacks, water, and soft drinks available!

📋 Packet Pickup and Registration

• Location: 6590 Woodway Dr, Houston, TX 77057, (713) 465-0033
• Pickup Times:
  • Wednesday, July 2: 3 PM - 7 PM
  • Thursday, July 3: 10 AM - 3 PM
  • Race Day: 6 AM - 7 AM (Out of town participants only)
• Multiple Packets: OK to pick up multiple runner packets. More than four pickups require a list of names and tank sizes.
• Tech Tank Shirt: To the first 1125 to register (size not guaranteed, ordered ~7 weeks before event).

💵 Cost and Fees

• Pricing: $35 until March 31, 2025, $40 from April 1 - May 31, $43 June 1 - June 25, $45 June 26 - July 3, $50 on race day (phone registration only 6 AM - 7:15 AM).
• Volunteer: Consider volunteering here.

🏅 Awards

• Categories: Overall Male & Female winners: Overall Master Male & Female winners: top 3 Male & Female in 5-year age groups (14 and under through 70+).
• Awards Ceremony: Starts at approximately 8:45 AM.
• Kids Awards: All kids receive a finisher medal!

🚗 Parking and Directions

• Parking: Free parking at Uptown Park Plaza. Lock cars and keep valuables out of sight!
• Directions from River Oaks/Westheimer Road: Take Loop I-610 north and exit #10 (Woodway Dr./Memorial Dr.). Turn right on Uptown Park Boulevard.
• Directions from I-610 and I-10: Head south on I-610 and exit #10A (Woodway Dr./Memorial Dr.)

📜 Additional Information

• Runner’s High Club: Consider training for the Houston marathon with us. More information at www.runnershighclub.com. Beginners welcome!
• Waivers: Participants under 18 must have a waiver statement signed by a parent/guardian.
• Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES!
• Pet Policy: No pets, baby strollers, or wheeled vehicles allowed in the 5K run/walk: strollers are okay in the kids run only.
