2025 Glow and Go (5K)

🏃‍♀️ Race Overview

The Glow and Go 5K will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, along The Woodlands Waterway beginning at 6 p.m. Glow and Go 5K is produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department and is a USA Track and Field (USATF) sanctioned event.

• Course Details: The chip-timed 5K course will incorporate the full length of the Waterway, providing a scenic route.
• Open to All: The 5K race is open to runners of all abilities, recommended for participants ages 10 and older.
• Dress Code: Runners are encouraged to dress in their best holiday attire and glow!

🎖️ Awards and Ceremony

There will not be an Awards Ceremony, but awards will be distributed onsite. A photo area will be available for participants.

💰 Registration Information

Registration fee of $35 includes finisher medal and participant packet. Please Note: A participant shirt is not included, but can be purchased for an additional $15. There is very limited availability for sizes, and shirts must be purchased by November 7, 2025.

• Race Day Availability: If inventory permits, shirts will be available for purchase on Race Day for an additional cost ($20 per t-shirt).
• Stroller Policy: Strollers are not permitted on the course per USATF sanction requirements!

💭 Refund and Transfer Policies

📅 Refund Policy

100 percent of your entry fee will be refunded until November 14, 2025. Refunds will not include Active.com processing fee. Refunds can take up to 3 weeks for processing. Please email the department to request a refund.

🔄 Transfer Policy

Entry fees are nontransferable from year to year. Transfers must be completed by the deadline by logging into your Active website account and selecting "My Events." All transfers must be completed by November 14, 2025. If you need assistance with transfers, please email the department.

☁️ Weather Policy

We have a "no refund policy" in regards to weather cancellations of any kind as well as changes to the race after registration. Unforeseen changes can occur at any time no matter how finalized anything seems to be. Any changes made to the race are done after careful consideration, usually due to safety concerns that arise after the race has been planned.
