Mental Health Matters 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair - 2025

San Mateo PAL in collaboration with Stride for Awareness present:

🏅 PAL's 5K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair

Join us May 31, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Seal Point Park in San Mateo. This day is dedicated to supporting health and mental wellness, encouraging community partnerships and educating about diverse resources.

🏃 5K Run/Walk Details

• Participation Fee: Start the day with a 5K Run or Walk on the bay trail at Seal Point Park!
• Inclusions: Race T-shirt included in registration.
• Note: Strollers and dogs are welcome with mindfulness to other participants.
• Wellness Fair: Stay after the 5K Run/Walk to attend our FREE Wellness Fair at Seal Point Park that starts at 9 a.m.

🎟️ Wellness Fair Information

• Start Time: Join San Mateo PAL for the Wellness Fair at Seal Point Park starting at 9:00 am.
• Features: This fair features community, health and wellness vendors.
• Cost: The Wellness Fair is FREE to all event attendees!
• Registration: When registering for the 5K, you don't need to register separately for the Wellness Fair.

🏆 Join a Team

• Prize Opportunity: The Team Lead with the highest team participation on event day will win an exclusive prize.
• Creating a Group: During registration, select “Yes” when asked if you would like to join or create a Group/Team.
• Group Ideas: Suggestions include: Wellness Warriors, Advocates for Awareness, Not Fast, Just Furious, etc.
• Registration: Complete registration, and your group is now active!

🤝 Joining a Group

• Method 1: Select “Yes” during registration when asked about joining a Group/Team, then choose the desired Group Name.
• Method 2: On the event page, go to the “More” tab, select “Group/Teams.”
• Active Groups: If you see your desired group, click the green “Join” button and register for the race.
• Instructions: Follow the prompts to join the group successfully.
