4th Annual Pints And Paws 5K and 1 Mile Run Walk and Pup Strut

🏃‍♀️ On-site Race Day Registration

• Time: 7 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025.

⏳ Online Registration Deadline

• Closes: Midnight Thursday, August 28th at Midnight.

🐶 Event Overview

• Location: 2070 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23185 (The Meadow area across from the Jamestown Settlement parking lot).
• Events: A 5K running and walking event with 1 Mile Fun Run Walk and Pup Strut co-sponsored by Colonial Sports.
• Packet Pickup: Race Day ONLY starting at 7:00 AM in the entrance to the field across from the parking area.
• Charitable Contribution: Bring an item for the rescue to receive an additional door prize ticket.

🐕 Dog Safety Information

• Consider: the heat and your dog’s ability to manage the temperature and running on asphalt.
• Water: Available for dogs at the start/finish.
• Requirements: Dogs must be in a harness/collar and on a leash or suitable lead. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.
• Entry Fee: Dogs competing in the Canine 1 Mile MUST be registered separately under their name for a $5 fee.

🏁 Race Start Times

• 1 Mile Fun Run Walk: Starts at 8:00 am on Saturday, August 30, 2025.
• 5K Event: Starts at 8:30 AM on Saturday, August 30, 2025, utilizing USATF-certified course VA20012RT.
• Participation: Dogs may accompany participants on both events as long as they are in a harness or collar and on a leash or suitable lead. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.

📸 Pup Photo Contest

• Entry Fee: $5 and open to anyone onsite with a pet.
• Categories: Best Dressed Pet, Best Pet/Owner Look Alike, Cutest Pet Smile, Best Large Breed, Best Small Breed.
• Prizes: Each winner will receive a prize!

🎉 Vendor Fair

• Time: Open between 8 am and noon.
• Features: Animal friendly and community service vendors for enjoyment.

👕 Participant Registration

• T-shirts: Guaranteed for those who register by August 22, 2025.
• Medals: A die cast finishers medal for the first 200 finishers.

🍕 Included with Registration

• Refreshments: (1) Beer and (1 slice) Pizza: non-drinkers and underage participants can choose a non-alcoholic beverage.

🅿️ Parking Information

• Location: Parking is in the Jamestown Foundation Settlement parking lot.

🏆 Awards

• Human Awards: Top three male and female overall and for different age groups in the 5K Run/Walk.
• Canine Awards: For the 1 Mile event, dogs must be registered separately under the dog’s name.
• 1 Mile Event: Untimed event for humans: dogs can participate without a separate fee unless they wish to compete for awards.
