18th Annual Smart Smiles 5K

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

Be the reason a child smiles! Smart Smiles come from Smart choices- smart health choices. With a focus on physical and emotional health, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula provides holistic health and wellness education and opportunities to members ages 6 through 18. Whether it be partnering with the Mobile Dentists who come to our Clubs to provide dental care: working with local culinary professionals to teach healthy cooking classes: providing kids with the appropriate avenues to receive council: and more- funds from our Smart Smiles 5K go toward providing kids across the VA Peninsula with the tools they need to succeed and the education they need to thrive.

💵 Registration Details

• Discounts: $5 discount for active military.
• Pricing: Students and children under 18 years of age $20 registration.
• Team Discounts: $10 discount for teams after initial registration.
• Registration Timing: Online registration closes on Friday, June 13th at 8 pm. Walk-up registration will be available on race day starting at 7 pm.

👕 Race Essentials

• Shirt Sizes: SHIRT SIZES AND RACE BAGS ONLY GUARANTEED TO REGISTRATIONS BEFORE JUNE 1!
• Awards: Male and Female Top 3 Overall Runners and Walkers (not eligible for awards in their age group).
• Age Group Awards: Male and Female Top 3 Runners in Age Group: (14 and under, 15-19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 and over).
• Team Awards: Fastest Team Overall, Team with most participants on race day, Team Theme Contest Winner.

⏰ Important Times

• 6:45 am: Park Gates Open.
• 7:00 am: Check-in/Registration.
• 8:00 am: Race Start.
• 9:15 am: Awards, Door Prizes, and Celebration.
