🏃♂️ About the Race
This is the NINTH year of the revived Franklin FUMC Run for Missions. If you've been around Franklin for decades, you may remember our church's run back in the 1990s. Since then, our church has moved our main campus to Mack Hatcher and Franklin Road with enough land for an entire 5K race on the church property.
🎶 Event Highlights
- Fun Activities: Come ready for a fun afternoon of running or walking around our more than 100 acres.
- Live Music: Enjoy music by the Grateful Bluegrass Band.
- Prizes: Homemade baked goods will be offered as prizes!
- Course Details: A half mile of the course is on a grass horse track, so expect a little grass on your running shoes.
🌍 Mission Support
The missions committee at FUMC helps determine where the proceeds of the race will go according to current needs each year. This year we will donate our proceeds to ACD Guatemala. This is one of our core church mission partners that supports children, youth, women, and families through education, medical and spiritual care, recreation, and economic empowerment for the prevention of violence and irregular migration to the U.S.
