Evanston 5K and Wellness Day

🏃‍♂️ Evanston 5K Run/Walk Information

Join us for the annual Evanston 5K run/walk happening on Saturday, April 12, 2025, beginning at 8:30 AM. Event begins and ends at the Evanston Recreation Center. Food, drinks and post-race activities to follow!

• Location: Evanston Recreation Center, Cincinnati, OH
• Start Time: 8:30 AM
• Route: 5K/3.1 mile route through the community
• Participants: Runners and walkers of all speeds and abilities are welcome!

💖 Community Benefit

Proceeds raised will support the year-round operation of the Evanston Employment Resource Center and the Evanston Community Council Food Pantry.

📍 Course Information

• Course Type: Fast, flat 3.1 mile course
• Neighborhood: Through the neighborhoods of Evanston

🏆 Race Divisions

Divisions include: 17 and under, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

🎖️ Awards

Top Male and Female winners and the top male and female in each age group will receive awards.

🎉 Post-Race Activities

After Run/Walk Celebration for adults and youth at Evanston Recreation Center. Wellness Day, 9:30 AM until 1:30 PM, will offer a range of services in support of social determinants of health.

💲 Registration Cost

• Adults: $25
• Youth (17 and under): $15
• Availability: Youth scholarships available
• Inclusions: Registration includes shirt, chip timing, and pre and post race activities

T-shirts are included with registration while supplies last. Sign up by March 12 to be sure to get one.

• 7:00 AM: Recreation Center Opens - Cincinnati Recreation Commission Website: Cincyrec.org
• 7:00 - 8:15 AM: Race Day Check-in at the Evanston Community Center
• 7:45 AM: DJ setup on Hackberry
• 8:30 AM: 5K Run/Walk begins
• 9:00 AM: Refreshments and post-race activities begin
• 9:30 AM: Awards Ceremony
• 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM: Continue with Wellness Day Activities
