Sonder Brewing 5K Run/Walk celebrating Oktoberfest benefiting Greater Project, serving children in need in our community and beyond!

📅 EVENT DETAILS

Sonder & Friends Oktoberfest 5K run/walk and Kids Root Beer Run, hosted at Sonder Brewing. 7 local breweries serving German beers, festive food, kids activities, live music and all day festival! Participants receive free beer ticket or root beer, along with a finisher medal. Join us for the race and then stay for the after party.

• Medals: Medals for ALL FINISHERS and awards for top 3 male/female finishers.
• Prizes: Prizes for the largest team and best individual and team Oktoberfest costumes.
• Strollers: Strollers welcome along with well-behaved dogs on leash.

🥤 KIDS ROOT BEER RUN

The Root Beer Run 10 yard or 50 yard fun dash. It takes place after the 5K on the course and ends over the finish line. Registered kids receive their own swag bag, root beer, sweet treat and finisher medal!

Groups will be divided by age:

• 4 years and under: 10 yard dash *parents welcomed to run alongside their toddler
• 5-7 years: 50 yard dash
• 8 years and above: 50 yard dash

📦 PACKET PICK UP

• Friday: Sept 26th 3:00-7:00pm, Sonder Brewing
• Saturday: September 27th 9:00-9:30am, Sonder Brewing
• In-person registration: Available Saturday before the race

🏁 RACE SCHEDULE

• 10:00 am: 5K Run/Walk Start
• 11:15 am: Awards Ceremony Begins
• 11:30 am: Kids Root Beer Fun Run… music and after party begins!

We connect people with opportunities to invest in the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in our local community, Kenya and India.
