🎉 The Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk

• New Location: Same great race benefitting the same great cause but will again start and finish at Hofbrauhaus in Newport, Kentucky.
• After Party: This new venue will give us space for pre-registration as well as an awesome after party, including one free beer/soda per participant (21+ and must show ID at event for a beer ticket).
• Awards: Top male and female finishers will receive Hofbrahaus gift cards. Additionally, the top 40 male and top 40 female finishers will receive a prize from Queen City Running.

• Event Details: Join the Epilepsy Alliance Ohio as we host our annual Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk on Saturday March 15, 2025 at Hofbrauhaus Newport in memory of Dennis Stemler and everyone living with seizures.
• Community Impact: Your participation in this event helps the Epilepsy Alliance Ohio provide valuable services including counseling, support groups, community education, group homes, Camp Flame Catcher for youth with epilepsy, an Adult Day Program and much more!

📅 Important Registration Information

• Shirt Fees: Due to the rising cost of shirts, we are adding an additional $5 to registration fees for shirts. Selecting a shirt size will add $5 to your registration fees.
• Shirt Options: Purple shirt options are available for those with epilepsy! Registrations completed after 2/28/2025 will have limited shirt selections.

• Participate: Register for the race: create or join a team to encourage others and help raise funds for the Epilepsy Alliance Ohio.
• Donations: You can donate to your favorite team or donate to the EAO to help fund our vital programs and services. No donation is too small!
• Over 70 Years of Service: The Epilepsy Alliance Ohio is dedicated to supporting those impacted by epilepsy in local communities.

💰 Referral Program

• How It Works: Register yourself, then share the unique referral link from your email confirmation.
• Earn Credits: Each time someone registers through your link, you earn a credit.
• Get Paid: After 5 referral credits, you’ll receive $5 back. For every additional registration, you’ll earn $1.
• Important: Ensure the people you refer use your unique link to register: we cannot make manual adjustments.

💲 Registration Fees

• Individual (13 and over): Pre-registration (1/1/25 to 3/14/25) is $35 (shirt is $5 additional): Same Day Registration is $40 (does not include a shirt).
• Individual (12 and under): Pre-registration (1/17/24 to 3/15/24) is $20 (shirt is $5 additional): Same Day Registration is $25 (does not include a shirt).
• Team Registration: Pre-Registration is $30 (shirt is $5 additional): Same Day Registration is $40 (does not include a shirt). Includes age-based pricing for 12 and under.
• Children 2 and under: Free but do not receive an event shirt, bib, or award.
• Race Day: Same day registration is from 8am to 8:50am with the race starting at 9am. All pre-registration event shirts must be picked up by 9am on race day or they will be forfeited.
