Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• New Location: The Emerald Miles 5K Run/Walk will start and finish at Hofbrauhaus in Newport, Kentucky.
• Event Highlights: Enjoy an awesome after party, including one free beer/soda per participant (21+ and must show ID for a beer ticket), music, food, and much more!
• Prizes: Top male and female finishers will receive Hofbrauhaus gift cards, and the top 40 male and female finishers will receive a prize from Queen City Running.
• Date: Saturday, March 15, 2025.

💜 Cause and Community Impact

• Supporting Epilepsy Alliance Ohio: This event is in memory of Dennis Stemler and aims to support those living with seizures.
• Fundraising Purpose: Your participation helps provide valuable services, including counseling, support groups, community education, and Camp Flame Catcher.

• Long-standing Mission: The Epilepsy Alliance Ohio has been active since 1953, providing direct services to support understanding and coping with epilepsy.

⚠️ Registration Details

• Shirt Fees: An additional $5 will be added to registration fees for shirt size selection. If no shirt is desired, select "none." Purple shirts available for those with epilepsy.
• Post Deadline Limitations: Registrations completed after 2/28/2025 will have limited shirt selections.
• Referral Program: Earn credits towards your registration fees by referring others using a unique referral link.

💰 Registration Fees

• Individual (13 and over): Pre-registration is $35 (shirt $5 extra) until 3/15/2024: Same Day Registration is $40 (no shirt).
• Individual (12 and under): Pre-registration is $20 (shirt $5 extra) until 3/15/2024: Same Day Registration is $25 (no shirt).
• Team Registration: Pre-registration is $30 (shirt $5 extra) until 3/15/2024: Same Day Registration is $40 (no shirt).
• Children: Children 2 and under in strollers are free but do not receive a shirt, bib, or award.
• Race Start Time: Same day registration is from 8 am to 8:50 am with the race starting at 9 am.

📅 Event Logistics

• Pick Up Policy: All pre-registration event shirts must be picked up by 9 am on race day, or they will be forfeited.
