Description:

• Event Origin: The East Fork SP Trail Run is where the Dirt Days Trail Series all began.
• Course Type: The race takes place on the well-established Backpack Trail, at East Fork Lake State Park.
• Distance: The 5.6 mile course is densely wooded, mimicking the feel of the Appalachian Trail.
• Course Changes: The course reverses direction each year.

Registration: All registration will be done online including on race day.

Note: Race begins and ends at the South beach on the SOUTH side of the lake. Use Route 125 and not Route 32.

⏰ Start Time:

• Race Events: The One-lap 5.4 Mile Race and the two-lap 10.6 Mile event will begin at 8:30 am.
• Trekker Start: A Trekker start beginning at 8:00 am, for those needing extra time.
• Timekeeping: Your time will be recorded regardless of distance, though you won't score for competitive awards.
• Course Sweeping: Course sweeping begins at 9:30 am: please complete your first lap by then.

🏞️ The Course:

• Trail Information: The race takes place on the well-established Backpack Trail.
• Direction Change: The course reverses direction each year, clockwise in even years and counterclockwise in odd years.

🏆 Individual Event Awards:

• Top Finishers: Awards for overall top male and female in each event.
• Age-Based Awards: Awards will also be given based on age for each event.
• Random Drawings: Random prize drawings for each event.

💵 Registration Fee:

• Fee: $22.50: online registration only.
• Kids Discount: NEW in 2024 - $5 discount for kids 14 and under at checkout.

🗓️ Race Day Registration and Check-In:

• Check-In Time: 7:10 am - through 8:15 am.
• Online Registration: Race day registration will be available online.
