Sea Splash Color Dash 5K

🏖️ Event Overview

The City of Port Hueneme and the Port of Hueneme are partnering together through the Community Benefit Fund to host a “Sea Splash Color Dash 5K and Kids 1K” event which is set to occur on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Hueneme Beach.

• 5K Participation Fee: $20 a runner
• 5K Start Time: 9:00am sharp
• Kids 1K Participation Fee: $10 per child
• Kids 1K Start Time: 10:30am sharp

All registered participants will receive a bib, t-shirt, and medal. There will be an awards ceremony for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in different age categories.

👧 Kids 1K Information

Please note, that the Kids 1K will not be timed. Registration to participate as a runner closes on Friday, February 28th, or once we reach 600 participants for the 5K and 150 participants for the Kids 1K.

• Age Requirement: Open to ages 12 and under
• Adult Supervision: Must be accompanied to the venue by an adult but does not have to participate.
• Waiver Requirement: Parents or guardians who wish to run alongside their child will need to sign a waiver onsite to receive a wristband.
• Registered Child Benefits: Only the registered child will receive a bib, participation medal, and t-shirt.

🎨 Race Features

Both races will feature a "color run" theme, with the "color" element represented by a final fishline tunnel segment in a designated zone along the competition route. Participation in the color run spray is optional, and an alternative competition path is available for those who prefer not to participate in the color segment.

🏥 Health Wellness Fair

The FREE Health Wellness Fair following the conclusion of the race will be located in Parking Lot “C”: featuring health career educational booths, a children’s activity area, healthy food vendors, live entertainment, and much more.

Parking will be free in lots A & B.

🕒 Event Details

• Event Hours: 9:00am - 12:30pm
• Weather Policy: This is a rain or shine event! If it is a beautifully sunny California day, feel free to take a break in the food court area.
• Restroom Facilities: Bathroom trailers on site, including an ADA-accessible restroom.
• Food Options: Healthy food trucks will be on-site offering food and drinks for purchase. This is a non-alcoholic event.

📅 Runner Packet Pick-Up

Runner Packet Pick-Up will take place on Saturday, March 15th from 10:00am - 2:00pm and Friday, March 21st from 9:00am - 7:00pm at the Orvene S. Carpenter Community Center located at 550 Park Ave, Port Hueneme, CA.
