🏃♂️ Join the Race
Join us for the 1st Annual Riverpark 5k Summer Series! This is a run/walk event, with the course being located on a bike path and sidewalk. The 5k event starts at 6:00pm each week, and the Free Kids 1k is at 5:45pm. The starting and ending point is located at Windrow Park. Parking for the event will be at Rio Del Sol STEAM School, located right next to the park. Limited to first 150 registrants!
👕 T-Shirt Information
- Price: T-Shirts will be for sale at the event, or online for $20.
- Free Option: FREE T-shirt by registering for at least 2 of the 3 races.
🏆 Awards & Points
As this is a series, awards will be given to the top 3 in each age category at the conclusion of Week 3 (7/25) at Window Park.
Participation with us for 1, 2, or all 3 weeks is welcome. A discount is available for registering for all 3! Finisher medals for Kids 1k! 100% of the proceeds go towards Rio Mesa Cross Country and Track teams.

- Check-In: Check in for bibs will be located at the park starting at 5:00pm each week.
📊 Series Points for Riverpark 5k
Age Group Points are given based on what place you get in your age group each week (please note age is based on your age on the last day of the series). If you don’t place in the top 9 in your age group you get 1 point for participating each week. Age groups are: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
- 1st Place: 10 Points
- 2nd Place: 8 Points
- 3rd Place: 7 Points
- 4th Place: 6 Points
- 5th Place: 5 Points
- 6th Place: 4 Points
- 7th Place: 3 Points
- 8th Place: 2 Points
- 9th or greater Place: 1 Point
