🏃♂️ Welcome Back to Aut2Run
We are excited to welcome you back to an in-person Aut2Run at California State University Channel Islands on Sunday, April 27th, 2025!
For those of you who can't experience Aut2Run in-person, but would still like to support Autism Society Ventura County, we will be offering a virtual option for you to participate in. This year is extra special to us as we celebrate Aut2Run's 13th anniversary!
💰 Support Our Mission
- Proceeds: 100% of the proceeds from Aut2Run go directly towards fulfilling Autism Society Ventura County's (ASVC) mission to create connections, empowering all with Autism to live fully.
- Community Inclusion: ASVC works to promote lifelong access and opportunity for all individuals within the autism spectrum and their families to be fully included members of the community.
- Programs: Their programs include education, advocacy, increasing public awareness, and collaboration with other agencies.
- Open Participation: ASVC programs are open to any individual, family, or community member impacted by autism.
🏅 In-Person Race Schedule
- 10K Run: 7:00am - Please note, we have a strict course time limit for the 10K. All participants must be able to complete the 10K in 75 minutes (that is a 12 minute per mile pace). If you do not reach the University Park Entrance in 54 minutes, you will be transported to where the 5K joins in and will receive a DNF (Did Not Finish).
- 5K Run/Walk: 8:45am
- 1 Mile Run/Walk: 10:15am
- Fun-K: 10:45am - This event is for children under age 12 and for adults with special needs and their caregivers. Limited to 300 participants.
- 15K Hero Run: Participants run both the 10K and 5K events separately. The times from the two races will be combined to give you your 15K results.
💻 Virtual Race Information
- Route: Please choose a local safe route (you can run or walk anywhere you like, we recommend a safe place with limited interruptions).
- Safety: Please follow all local laws, stop at all lights, stop signs and be cautious when crossing any crosswalks.
- Distance Tracking: Please use a GPS watch or phone with a GPS app (Strava or RunKeeper are good options) to track your time and distance.
- Submission: Upon completion, add your distance and time onto results page anytime between April 18th and 24th.
📦 Packet Pickup Information
- Saturday Pickup: Highly recommended to avoid long lines on race morning.
- Saturday Date: April 26th from 10:00am - 2:00pm at California State University Channel Islands (South Quad).
- Sunday Date: April 27th from 6:00am - 10:45am at California State University Channel Islands (South Quad).
- Arrival: Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your event start time. Expect lines at race morning packet pickup.

🏅 Finisher Medals & T-Shirt
ALL registered finishers will receive one of our unique finisher medals and a soft event t-shirt. Additional t-shirts, hats, and other items are available for purchase in limited quantities at the event.
