23rd Annual Beaver Volunteer Fire Department / Heritage Valley Health System 5K/10K Race

🎉 Celebrate 23 Years of Running!

The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race is the longest continual and most attended organized race in Beaver County.

One visit to the Borough of Beaver and you’ll see why! Our scenic town boasts broad, tree-lined streets, thriving downtown, and lots of public parks. Beaver is on the National Register of Historic Places and it is named as a “Tree City USA.”

A long stretch of the race course overlooks the majestic Ohio River. Beaver Volunteer Fire Department has been proud to co-sponsor with Heritage Valley Health Systems for the past 20 years.

📅 Race Event Details

Saturday, May 31, 2025 @: 8:00 AM EDT

• Event: Annual Race/Walk
• Location: Beaver County's premier race event
• Course: Scenic route through historic neighborhoods of Beaver, PA
• Safety: Intersections manned by police, firefighters, and community volunteers

🏃‍♂️ Race Schedule

The 10K race will begin promptly at 8:00 am, followed by the toddler trot scheduled for 9 am then followed by the 5K race/walk at 9:30 am.

Start timing might slightly vary depending on the 10K race finishing.

📝 Registration and Packet Pick-Up

• Date: Friday, May 30, 2025 (3:00 pm – 7:00 pm)
• Race Day: 6:30-8:45 am: 10K registration will close at 7:45 am.
• Location: Beaver Volunteer Fire Department

⏱️ Timing and Finish Line

Chip Timing service provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services (www.smileymiles.com)

• Refreshments: Water and fruit will be provided at the Finish Line.
• Vendors: Other food vendors scheduled to appear.
• Awards Ceremony: Begins as soon as the results are available.

🏆 Awards

Trophies will be awarded to the top three Overall men and women and Masters (40+) male & female in both the 5K & 10K Race.

Medals will be awarded to the top three men and women in each age group, as well as all children 12 & under.

🎖️ Age Groups

• 12 & Under
• 13-15 years old
• 16-19 years old
• 20-24 years old

👟 For Walkers

All walkers will be timed as part of the 5K race. No separate awards for walkers, but times will be included in the 5K race and will be eligible for 5K age group awards.

☔ Rain Checks & Refunds

In the event of dangerous weather, the race may be delayed but will be held that day. No refunds will be issued for any reason.
