🏃♂️ Event Overview
The Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) is again preparing for its 11th Annual Midtown Race for MAC 5k at Piedmont Park on May 10, 2025. Growing in size each year, this annual event draws runners from around Atlanta to raise awareness about the prevention of homelessness and hunger for working families. Since its inaugural race in 2014, the Midtown Race for MAC has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide essential emergency assistance to low-income working Atlantans.
🏞️ Course Details
The 5k race course this year is once again inside the park, and all runners, walkers, strollers, and pet owners are welcome. Parking available in the lot next to Park Tavern. Leashed dogs and strollers welcome.
📍 Start/Finish Location
START/FINISH: Near Park Tavern and Midtown High School. 500 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309. The race will start promptly at 8:30 AM.
🏆 Age Groups and Awards
AGE GROUPS/AWARDS: Water Bottle Awards. Overall M & F, Masters M & F & top M & F finishers in each category.
📝 Registration Information
- Fees: $30 until March 1: $35 thereafter and $45 on race day.
- On-site Registration: At main pavilion from 7:15 to 8:15 am.
👕 T-Shirts
T-SHIRTS: All pre-registered participants will receive a 100% cotton short-sleeved T-shirt. Race day as supplies last.
📦 Packet Pickup
PACKET PICKUP: Race packets can be picked up at Big Peach Ride & Run - Midtown (800 Peachtree St NE suite b&c, Atlanta, GA 30308) on Friday, May 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., or on the morning of the race (subject to t-shirt availability).
