When you support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County, you’re not just participating in an event – you’re joining a movement! Together, we are empowering the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. Research shows that under-resourced children and youth who have volunteer mentors and support services are far more likely to attend school regularly, thrive academically, exhibit healthy behaviors, build nurturing relationships, exude high self-esteem, and graduate from high school with a plan for the future.

🙌 Empowerment through Support

• Impact: Your support and the support of others help our children achieve great things! Through one-on-one mentoring relationships with caring adults, we empower children ages 6 – 19 to dream big, build resilience, and unlock their full potential.
• Services: Moreover, our support services strengthen our mentoring with social and emotional learning, academic enrichment and tutoring, career and college readiness programming, summer camps, a Learning Resource Center, and family engagement activities.

• Race Start: 5K &: 1 Mile Run/Walk starts at 9:00am
• Awards: To be announced around 10:00am

• 1 Mile: Untimed

✍️ Registration

• Day of Registration: Begins at 8:00am inside the Lorain County Community College, inside the Physical Education Building (1005 Abbe Rd N, Elyria, OH 44135).
• Parking: Available at Lot 6 on the campus of Lorain County Community College.
• Mail-in Registration: Make checks payable to "Hermes Sports and Events". Must be received by Wednesday, September 3.
• Mail to: Hermes Sports and Events, 2425 W. 11th St. Suite 2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.

💲 Fees

• Pre-registration: $30
• Race Day Registration: $35

📦 Early Packet Pickup

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lorain County, 1270 Abbe Road North, Elyria, Ohio 44035, on Friday, September 4 from 4-6pm.

🚗 Parking

Parking will be available the day of the race at Lorain County Community College. Please park in Lot 6 which is near the Fitness Center on the North Side of Campus.

• Overall: Top Male and Female overall
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male and Female in the following age groups: 14 &: Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 &: Over

🎁 What You Get
