Brooklyn Heights On the Run 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the 12th Annual Brooklyn Heights On the Run 5K & 1-Mile Walk.

Proceeds from the race will go to the Park Board organization which funds the Easter Egg Hunt, Christmas Stockings & Santa visit, summer concert in the park, and community newsletter.

📅 Race Day

• Date: Sunday, October 12, 2025
• 7:30 am: Packet Pickup in the Brooklyn Heights Community Center
• 8:55 am: Kids Dash (50 yards 8 & under)
• 9:00 am: 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk

📍 Location/Course

This course begins at the Brooklyn Heights Community Center and takes participants through mostly flat surrounding residential streets.

💵 5k/1 Mile Registration Fees

• 12 and Under: $15
• Standard: $30
• A paper entry form can be found HERE and mailed to Hermes Sports & Events by 10/10/25

• A Kids Dash: (8 and under)
• 5k B-Tag Chip Timing: Accurate race timing
• Refreshments: Free food and drinks available
• Door Prizes: Exciting prizes for participants
• A Race Shirt: All participants will receive a shirt

🏆 Awards

Top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:

• 17 and under
• 18-30
• 31-50
• 51 and up

Dogs are allowed but we ask that you line up in the back and have a short leash.
