Are you training for a Spring event? Join SRC for a supported long run from Veterans Memorial Park in Wading River.

🌼 Spring Goals

• Support: We want to help you achieve your goals this Spring.
• Community: Join us for a long run and enjoy the benefits of running with others.
• Open to All: This run is open to all runners looking to get in some miles.
• Distance: The loop is 9.3 miles and we will be setting up a water stop at the start/finish area and at 5 miles.

🚶‍♀️ Running Route

• Location: Park at Veterans Memorial Park in Wading River.
• Trail: Run on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Recreational Trail, a dedicated path for walking, running, and cycling.
• Safety: With minimal road crossings, vehicles are no worry.
• Path Etiquette: The path is open for public use so remember to stay to your right and no more than 2 runners side by side.

🎽 Training Focus

• Purpose: This is meant to be a training run, whether you are looking to get in a hard effort or just some casual miles with friends.
• Invitation: We want you to join us.
• RSVP: Please RSVP by registering for the event.
• Logistics: We will be using this headcount to make sure we have enough water, nutrition, and hydration.
