10th annual Morris Superhero Run - April 12, 2025 downtown Morris

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Race Types: The Superhero Run features a 5K, Kids 1K Fun Run/Walk, and a Virtual Run.
• New This Year: The 10th anniversary introduces a 10K option!
• Location: All races start and finish at the FOE on Washington and Liberty Streets in Nostalgic Downtown Morris, IL.
• Timing: The 5K begins at 9am, followed by the Kids and Anyone 1K at approximately 10am.

🤝 Community Partnership

• Collaboration: For 2025, GFWC - Morris Woman's Club has partnered with the Grundy County Historical Society.
• Mission: The Historical Society aims to provide a permanent location to house, preserve, and display objects relevant to the county’s past.
• History: Established in 1923, the initial collection was showcased in handmade cases within the Grundy County Courthouse.
