Forgotten Warrior Memorial 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Type: 5K Run/Walk/Ruck, dog friendly.
• Date: April 12, 2025.
• Location: Forgotten Warrior Memorial at Channahon State Park, 25302 W Story St, Channahon, IL 60410.
• Carpooling: Suggested for participants.

📍 Race Details

• Route: Starts at Channahon State Park, heading south along the scenic and picturesque I&M canal.
• Features: Various veterans resources, vendors/sponsors, food trucks, 50/50 drawing, raffle baskets.
• Shirt: Will have a spot for you to write in the name of who you're running in honor of.
• Purpose: Honoring our veterans both past and present who are battling PTSD and raising awareness and support.

🎖️ Packet Pick Up

• Location: K9s for Veterans retail store at 631 E Boughton Rd Suite 155, Bolingbrook, IL, 60440.
• Days: Will be held prior to race day.
• Changes: We will have signs along the route and offer packet pickups among other adjustments based on feedback.
• Photo Option: Small donation for a photo of your warrior on the course and run sign up page.

🎽 Registration Includes

• Entry: 5K Run/Walk Entry.
• Chip Time: Chip Timed Race Bib.
• Medal: The first 300 participants will receive a finisher medal.
• Awards: Overall and age category recognition pins.
