Forgotten Warrior Memorial 5k

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Type: 5K Run/Walk/Ruck, dog friendly.
• Location: Forgotten Warrior Memorial located at Channahon State Park, 25302 W Story St, Channahon, IL 60410.
• Transportation: Carpooling is suggested.
• Improvements: Signs along the route, packet pickups prior to race day, and an option for a small donation for a photo of your warrior on the course.

🌅 Race Route

• Starting Point: Channahon State Park.
• Scenic Route: Participants will head south along the picturesque I&M canal.
• Resources: Various veterans resources, vendors, and sponsors will be present.
• Activities: Enjoy food trucks, 50/50 drawing, and raffle baskets.

🎖️ Honoring Our Veterans

• Shirt Feature: Shirts will have a space to write in the name of who you are running in honor of.
• Acknowledgment: Honoring veterans both past and present who are battling PTSD and promoting awareness and support.
• Packet Pickups: Will be held at K9s for Veterans retail store located at 631 E Boughton Rd Suite 155, Bolingbrook, IL, 60440.
