Plainfield American Legion 5K Charity Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: We will have a kids Dash (50 meter dash), 5K Run, Walk and Ruck.
• Course: This is an out and back course starting at and ending at the Plainfield American Legion.
• Route: Race will begin on River Rd at the West entrance of Plainfield American Legion. From there head south, turn (L) East on W Easy Street, North (L) on Leawood Dr, East (R) on Brittany St, North (L) on Renwick Park Dr, East onto Fort Beggs Bike Trail to turn around point just past W Fraser Rd and back at start/finish.
• After Party: After party will be at Plainfield American Legion.

🍔 Registration Benefits

• Inclusions: Your registration will include 2 free draft beers, 1 cocktail or 2 free fountain drinks.
• Entertainment: We will also have food trucks, 3 bars open, Tug-A-War, Bearcat Pull, Magic show, 50/50, raffle baskets, band, vendors to name a few.
• Charity Partner: Portion of registrations and raffles will go to our charity partner AllenForce Visit AllenForce.
• Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be at Plainfield American Legion.

🏅 Timing and Awards

• Chip Timing: Professional Chip Timing by J3 Timing.
• Awards: Awards will be overall and age category recognition pins.
• Finish Medals: 1st 200 participants will receive finisher medals.

🚗 Parking Information

• Carpooling: Carpooling is suggested.
• Parking Locations: Parking will be available at Plainfield Park Districts grounds located at 24550 West Renwick Road, Plainfield, IL and grass lot just west of Plainfield American Legion on corner of River Rd and Renwick.
