🏃♂️ Join Us for the Race!
Join us on Sunday, March 30th at Jensen Beach Park for the Anthony Strong Memorial 5K!
💖 Honoring Anthony's Legacy
- Background: Our son Howard “Anthony” Richards at the age of 2 was diagnosed with AML leukemia. He fought hard for 4 years but in 2019 at the age of just 6 Anthony went home to be with the Lord.
- Impact: He was an amazing young man with a heart of gold. He brought smiles to faces in our community and he helped to touch and change lives in just the 6 short years that he was here on this earth.
- Purpose: We want to honor his legacy and his fight with this Annual 5K race. This year will benefit The Kids Cancer Foundation.
🎉 Community Event
- Excitement: The Anthony Strong Foundation organizers are so excited to bring this very special event to the treasure coast area.
- Family-Friendly: The Anthony Strong Memorial 5k will be a beautiful way to honor the legacy of Anthony.
- Participation: It is a family-friendly race, where you can race, walk, run, and gather socially to get some healthy exercise.
- Awareness: By bringing this annual event to our community, we hope to create awareness for childhood cancer for the children who are fighting and the family and friends that support them.
🙏 Support from the Community
- Call to Action: Our organizers, The Anthony Strong Foundation and Morningside Academy’s NJHS hope that everyone in the community takes great pride to join in.
- Inclusivity: Even if they never walk or run on any other day of the year, we would love to have your support.
- Goal: Making this year’s Anthony Strong Memorial 5k the best it can be!
