Wagging Tails on the Trails 5k Trail Race

🐾 Race Overview

Join us for the 3rd annual Wagging Tails on the Trails 5K Race at Pepper Park Riverside in Fort Pierce on Hutchinson Island!

Date & Time: February 7, 2026 race starts at 7:30 a.m.

Location: 3375 N State Road-A1A, Fort. Pierce, FL

This 5K loop is a flat hard packed trail that winds through mangroves and beautiful hammocks along the Indian River Lagoon.

🎽 Registration Includes

• T-shirt: Yes, each participant receives a customizable t-shirt.
• Finisher Medal: Earn a medal as a testament to your accomplishment.
• 5k Run/walk entry: Entry for both runners and walkers.
• Chip timed race bib: Ensure accurate timing for all participants.
• Finish line treats for fur babies: Special snacks for your pets at the end!

🐶 Dog Friendly Experience

This race is very dog friendly! Feel free to bring your leashed, four-legged running buddy to enjoy the trail with you. All dogs to cross the finish line receive a treat!

• Water stations: Water bowls available at the water station and around the expo area.
• Cleanup: Please clean up after your pets and come prepared with poop bags.
• Safety: Pets must be friendly and non-aggressive to other dogs or people.
• Leashing: Dogs must be leashed at ALL times.

Going old school option available with no medal or t-shirt.

🎉 Puppy Dash

Puppy Dash for kids 10 and under. A short fast race that will take place around 8:45. Kids will receive a yummy cupcake when they cross the finish line.
