The Wisdom Warrior Challenge (WWC) is a unique track event for senior living communities!
- Started with: 19 seniors training together for a local 5K.
- Current Participation: Involves more than 1,000+ participants in a national competition!
- Cost: Absolutely FREE to every participant thanks to our generous sponsors!
Participating senior communities are given all the tools required to host a WWC track event for their residents that will earn them points in both a local and national competition!
Qualifying: Easy – participants must be 50 years of age or older and able to repeat the statement: “Age is just a number, and I am so much more than a number!”
The competition is broken down into several different distances and various age categories – including a wheelchair division!
- Participants receive: Stocked up swag bags, t-shirts, and medals.
- Engagement Opportunity: A fantastic opportunity to engage senior community residents in health and wellness programs.
- Community Involvement: Involves the local community through sponsorships, awards ceremonies and vendor expos!
