- Medals: Race medals will be given to all finishers!
- Prizes: Awards for the top three finishers per age group (up to 90+ years)!
- Timing: Chip-timing will be used for the 5K.
- Course: A flat and fast course around the historic Grand Caverns Park.
🌅 Race Details
- Start Time: Twilight start at 6:30 PM.
- 1-Mile Fun Run: Starts approximately 5 minutes after the 5K.
- Proxy Participation: Register as a proxy for $10: we’ll send you your BIB and "finishing" time!
- Proceeds: All proceeds will support a new natural playground at Grand Caverns Park.
📅 Event Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Begins at 5:15 PM on race day.
- Parking: Park in the first lot on the left: registration and race start will be in the upper parking lot.
- Race Start: 5K begins at 6:30 PM: 1-Miler starts at approximately 6:35 PM.
- Awards: Winners will be announced after the races.
☔ Weather Policy
- Conditions: The race will occur in all safe weather conditions (rain, snow, etc.).
- Access: Park access will close 15 minutes prior to the 5K start: arrive early.
- Roads: Will reopen after the completion of the race.
