46th Colonial Half Marathon and 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The tradition continues, on February 15th, 2025 in Williamsburg, Virginia. Colonial Sports, Inc. invites you to test yourself in this prestigious and historical Half Marathon Run. Are you a Bad Ass Runner or Walker? Prove it! Beat Fortitude Hill!

🕗 5K Schedule

• Start Time: 8:30 AM near the intersection of Nassau and Francis Streets adjacent to the Dewitt Wallace Art Museum in Colonial Williamsburg.
• On-site Requirement: All 5K runners and walkers must be on-site NLT 8 AM.
• Course Description: Start on Nassau St, follow Prince George St, enter historical Colonial Williamsburg, and finish on Fortitude Hill.
• Awards: Medals for top three overall, top three Masters and Grand Masters, and age group winners.

• Swag bag: Includes a Long Sleeve race T.
• Finisher Medal: Custom for all finishers.
• Food and Beverage: Includes Beer and Pizza ticket.
• Entertainment: Music by DJ Drew and a Fife and Drum Start line Escort.

🏅 Mini Half Marathon

One Wave of Runners and walkers. The Mini Half participants start and finish at the start line. This is not an officially timed race.

• Start Time: 9:30 AM following the last Half Marathon start.
• Course Brief: Run to a turnaround point on Duke of Gloucester St and return to Nassau.
• Finisher Benefits: Long Sleeve T-Shirt, Finisher’s Medal, and a free entry pass to the Post Race Celebration.
• ID Requirement: Must show ID for complimentary beer if 21 or older.

🏃‍♀️ Half Marathon Details

All Half Marathon runners and walkers must be on-site NLT 8:45 AM. This race starts with one gun at 9:00 AM.

• Start Time: 9:00 AM near the intersection of Nassau and Francis Streets.
• Course Description: A scenic route through Colonial Williamsburg finishing at Fortitude Hill.
• Time Limit: 3.5 hours for completion.
• Awards: Cash awards for top finishers and custom awards for age groups.

💖 Charitable Donations

Both races are a Healthy Hearts! Healthy Mind! event. Donations can be made to:

• Track Endowment: Supporting the Track and Field program at the College of William and Mary.
• Heroes on the Water: Providing therapeutic kayak fishing experiences to veterans and first responders.

Last opportunity to Register is Race day Feb 15th, 2025 from 7 AM to 9 AM. Location is the registration tent near the start line.
