• Ages: Open to kids ages 6 to 14 of all abilities.

🎉 Event Highlights

• Route: A special one-mile journey starting in front of the State Capitol.
• Finish Fair: Culminates at Cecil D. Andrus Park with festivities.
• Rewards: Every participant receives a commemorative medal and stylish T-shirt.
• Collaboration: Sponsored by the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and Saint Alphonsus for 41 years.

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Opens March 1, 2025 - May 9, 2025.
• In-Person Registration: Available on May 10th, 3 PM - 7 PM (Location TBD).

♿ Shortened/Adaptive Course

• Inclusion: Encouraging participation for kids with all abilities.
• Adaptive Course: Starts at 9:30 AM prior to the main race.

📜 Race History

• Inception: Started in 1983 by Ron and Betsy Twilegar.
• Initial Goal: To encourage young people to become interested in physical fitness.
• Tradition: Became a family tradition for many in Treasure Valley.

👩‍👧‍👦 PARENTS! Listen Up!

• Participation: Parents can run with their kids, starting at the back of the pack.
• Limit: Only one adult per child, please.
• Registration: Adults do not need to register and will not receive a medal or shirt.
• Safety: Interested in helping? Sign up as an adult volunteer to ensure safety along the course.

• Free Entry: Available for runners with physical/intellectual challenges.
• Race Buddies: Volunteers available for extra support, encouragement, and fun.
