- Parking: Parking is available near the gym, with additional spaces across from the school on Central Road.
- Race Day Registration: Starts at 8:00 AM in front of the school.
- Guest Speakers: Scheduled for 8:30 AM before the warming up session.
- Race Start: 1-mile Fun Run/Walk at 9:00 AM followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9:30 AM.
🏆 Awards Ceremony
- Overall Winners: Awards for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Overall.
- Top Performers: Awards for the Top 3 Male & Female per Age Group.
💰 Entry Fees
- 1 Mile: $10 per person.
- 5K: $25 per adult (18+), $10 per student (17 & under).
- Team Discount: $20 each for teams of 5 adults or more for the 5K.
- Refund Policy: Fees are non-refundable.
🎽 Participant Information
All participants will receive a t-shirt and a bib race number. All ages and abilities are welcome.
🌟 Mission
The goal of the Gumbo Run 5K is to promote Scotlandville's NAF Academies and to encourage overall unity, health, and fitness in the North Baton Rouge community.
This annual race is our signature fundraising event. Proceeds benefit SMHS NAF Academies. Come out and join us!
