🏃♂️ YMCA Corporate Cup 5K Run

📅 Event Overview

- Details: The YMCA Corporate Cup, formerly known as the Providence Corporate Cup, is a 5K run/walk featuring a new route this year.
- Purpose: It advocates wellness in the workplace and camaraderie among colleagues.
- Location: The event will be held near Downtown Baton Rouge across from the Cane’s River Center on S. River Road.
🏅 Race Features
- Course: 3.1 mile course with four Corporate race divisions, a Fun Team division, and an Individual division.
- Awards: Winners in each division will receive awards, including the Corporate Wellness Award and the Oldie but Goodie Award for the oldest male and female runners.
- Activities: Focus on being fit, learning about healthy living, nutrition, and building camaraderie.
- Timing: Chip timing will be utilized to ensure accuracy.
⏱️ Chip Timing Information
- Requirements: Race bibs with timing chips will be REQUIRED for scoring.
- Team Scoring: If a team member does not have a bib, they will not be scored.
- Distribution: Bibs will be assigned to all registered runners and will be included in race packets.
- Pickup: Race packets can be picked up on the Friday before race day.
🤝 Community Participation
- Inclusivity: Participation is not limited to competitors: companies can have on-site tent locations for their teams.
- Community Driven: Family and friends are encouraged to join the event.
👕 T-shirts and Registration
- Included: YMCA Corporate Cup T-shirts will be provided with registration.
- Deadline: Registrations made after 3.15.2025 will not include the t-shirt option.
