🏃‍♂️ IN-PERSON 5K, 10K, & Fun Run

The Hickory Foundation YMCA is excited to announce that we will celebrate the 24th Annual Hickory Turkey Trot 5K & 10K on Saturday - November 22nd, 2025. Proceeds from this race help the Y carry out its Mission to provide programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body to make Hickory a stronger community. Your race entry fee and generous Donations will help to continue this support in our community.

🗓️ IMPORTANT DATES & TIMES

• Packet Pickup & On-Site Registration: TEAM ONLY Packet Pickup is on November 20th, 12:00pm - 1:30pm & 3:00pm - 6:00pm at C.O. Miller Teen Center, 701 1st St NW.
• Individual Runner Packet Pickup: November 21st, 12:00pm - 1:30pm, 3:00pm - 6:00pm, and on Race Day from 7:00am - 9:00am.
• Race Start Times: Youth Fun Run at 8:15am, 10K at 9:00am, 5K at 9:03am.
• Awards Ceremony: 11:00am at the C.O. Miller Teen Center on YMCA grounds.

👶 YOUTH FUN RUN

Kids, ages 12 & Under The course will take place in the field behind the Hickory Foundation YMCA. The Kids’ Fun Run begins at 8:15am. Parents are welcome to join! Bring on the little Turkeys.

💵 ENTRY FEES

• 5K & 10K Entry Fee: July 8 - September 1 => $30/$35: September 2 - November 12 => $35/$40: November 13 - Race Day => $45/$50.
• Youth Fun Run Entry Fee: August 1 - Race Day => $15.
• Corporate Team Members: Please contact your Team Manager for Registration Details.
• All Finishers: Register before November 9th to receive a custom t-shirt!

🏆 AGE GROUPS & AWARDS [5K & 10K]

Top Male & Female of 5K & 10K Winners: One month YMCA membership for free, a turkey, and a trophy! Overall winners are not eligible for Age Group awards.

The Top Three Male & Female finishers in the following Age Groups will receive a Custom Pint Glass: 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, *70 + (Special presentation for the oldest male and female).

The Top Three Male & Female finishers in the following Age Groups will receive a medal: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19.

🎽 PHANTOM 5K & 10K

This “Do It Yourself” event allows participants to run or walk at any time and any location that is convenient and safe for you and your families. Must register by November 9th to receive a race t-shirt.

Entry Fee: July 1 - Race Day => $30.
