The return of the Sault International Festival of Races will take place September 27-28, 2025.
🕗 Race Schedule
- Race Days: September 27-28, 2025
- Start Time: 8:00am on both Saturday (5 Mile Bridge Run) and Sunday (Half Marathon, 5K Run, and 5K Walk)
- Travel Note: For those traveling from Canada, be aware of the bridge's specific closing time prior to the race
- Traffic Advisory: Allow additional time in case of a traffic backup
🏃♂️ Main Events
- 5 Mile Bridge Run: Main event on day 1 (Saturday) across the International Bridge, starting and finishing on the historic campus of LSSU
- No Need for ID: Running with IDs or passports is not required, as participants will be turned around before reaching customs
- Sights: Enjoy views of the Soo Locks, LSSU, the St. Mary's Rapids, passing freighters, and more!
- Sunday Events: Half-marathon and 5k on day 2 (Sunday) will not cross the International Bridge, starting/finishing near downtown Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan
