It's time for the Phoenix Rising 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕖 Check-In and Start Times
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45AM, please email for early start abetterworldrunning@gmail.com
- Location: 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803
🗺️ Event Address and Directions
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) Please do not use Apple Maps as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com.
🚻 Logistics and Amenities
- Parking: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING.
- Restrooms: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
- Photos: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
🏃♂️ Course Details
- 5k Route: 5k out and back route
- 10k Route: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k Route: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon Route: 3 x 4.36 mi loop
🎖️ Awards and Recognition
- Finisher Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
- Goodie Bags: Everyone will also get a goodie bag.
- Results Posting: Results are posted after every race on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
- Free Photos: Free photos are posted on our Facebook page -- www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning.
