🏃♂️ Phoenix Rising Race Overview
It's time for the Phoenix Rising 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to:

- Pasadena Humane Society: Visit here
🕖 Check-in and Start Times
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start Time: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut-off: 10:45AM
- Early Start: Email abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for options
📍 Location and Directions
Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
- GPS Note: Do not use Apple Maps app: use Google Maps or Waze app.
- Map: There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
- Parking Advice: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY to find parking and use the restroom.
- Restroom Note: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
🏅 Race Details and Course
- Race Types: 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon
- Course Routes:
- strollers Allowed: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon.
🎖️ Post-Race Information
- Finishers: ALL finishers get a medal and a goodie bag.
- Results: All results will be posted after the event on our website, usually by the evening of the event.
- Free Photos: Free photos are posted on our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning
- Focus: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun and personal racing experience!
