The Big Easy is BACK in Little Elm for its 11th year on March 1, 2025, from 5:00pm - 9:00pm! Join us for your Cajun favorites including:

• Mardi Gras-themed 5K: Join the fun with our themed race.
• Crawfish Boil: Enjoy delicious Cajun cuisine.
• Live Music: Dance to the tunes from Le Freak Band.
• Fun Contests: Participate in exciting contests and programming.
• Food Trucks: Indulge in a variety of food options.
• Shopping: Explore art displays and unique vendors.

🏃 Race Participation

Participate in our themed games and contests including the King Cake Eating!

Sign up for our 5K and fun walk!

• Open to All Ages: Everyone is welcome.
• T-shirts and Medals: Each participant will receive a t-shirt, and the first 1000 registered will get a finishers medal.
• Awards: Prizes for the best dressed female, male, and krewe (a krewe is five to 10 people).

🐚 Crawfish Details

• Crawfish Platters: Will come with potatoes, butter, corn, and seasoning.
• Pricing: Crawfish platters will be $15.

🚗 Parking Information

• Free Parking: Participants who pick up their race day packet in advance will get free parking.

📦 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be held on:

• Thursday, February 27, 2025: 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at The Elm Hotel, 301 E. Eldorado Parkway, Little Elm, TX 75068 (upper floor).
• Friday, February 28: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. at The Elm Hotel, 301 E. Eldorado Parkway, Little Elm, TX 75068 (upper floor).
• Saturday, March 1, 2025: 3:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. at Little Elm Park, 701 W. Eldorado Parkway, Little Elm, TX 75068. Participants must show bib for free onsite parking so early packet pick up is encouraged.

⏰ Event Schedule

• 5:00 PM: 1K Fun Run starts.
• 5:15 PM: 5K starts.
• 6:15 PM: 5K awards begin + PARTY!

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given for:

• Overall Male & Female: Top finishers.
• Masters Male & Female: For those in the masters category.
• Age Groups: Breakdown starts at 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, and continues in 5-year increments, up to 80 & plus.
• Chip Time: All awards are based on chip time. Awards will not be mailed out after the event.

Race is rain or shine!

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the organizer and local authorities.
