Pioneer Pace 5k Fun Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

The Food & Nutrition Network is proud to present the 31st annual Pioneer Pace 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 29th, 2025 at 8:30 am. All proceeds will support the Tarrant Area Food Bank which serves over 146,000 households every year, and the North Texas Food Bank which provides over 70 million meals every year to local hungry and food insecure people.

📍 Race Location

The race takes place around the beautiful TWU campus. It starts and finishes at the Old Main Circle. We expect about 150 people in attendance this year.

🎁 Awards and Donations

• Raffle Prizes: Gift certificates and other awesome prizes will be available via raffle. Each pre-registered runner receives 1 raffle ticket in their goodie bag. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on race day. You MUST be present to Win!
• T-Shirt Guarantee: T-Shirts are only guaranteed if you register by March 1st, 2025!

⏰ Race Day Schedule

Please plan to arrive by 7:30 am to pick up your race day runner bag and/or register if you didn’t do it before. Before the race you may also have fun meeting our sponsors, checking out the raffle prizes, and taking pictures. Race announcements and dynamic warm-up will start by 8:15 am, so everyone is ready to start the 5k or 2-mile run, fun run/walk by 8:30 am.

• 7:30 - 8:00 am: Runner bag pick up & Race day registration
• 8:00 - 8:15 am: Race Announcements
• 8:15 - 8:30 am: Dynamic warm-up
• 8:30 am: Race will officially begin
• 9:45 - 10:30 am: Results Announcements, Awards Ceremony, and Raffle
