- Unique Experience: The walks/runs are not your everyday 5K, 10K or 1 Mile Fun Run.
- Course Highlights: Beautiful Greenbelt Trail, historic Elm Fork Bridge, equestrian trails.
- Open Participation: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
- Dog Friendly: Dogs on a leash are welcome, but strollers are not allowed due to unpaved sections.
🎉 About the Event
- Organizers: Presented by The Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
- Goal: Raise funds for the Texas State Parks and Wildlife Department.
- Community Impact: Funds donated are used to improve the Greenbelt and Ray Roberts Lake State Park.
- Swag for Participants: Swag-bag with sponsor goodies, event t-shirt, finisher medal, and refreshments.
🏆 Awards and Prizes
- Awards: Prizes for the top 3 overall male and female finishers.
- Age Groups: Prizes for top 3 male and female finishers in age groups: 14 & under, 15-24, 25-34, 35-44, 45-54, 55-64, 65 & over.
- Packet Pickup: Pre-race packet pick up on Friday, April 11.
- Race Day Pickup: Plan to arrive early to pick up your packet if you miss pre-race pick up.

- 6:45: Race registration and packet pick-up open
- 8:15: 1 Mile Fun Run begins
- 9:00: Singing of the National Anthem
- 9:15: 10K begins
- 9:30: 5K begins
- 11:00: Awards Ceremony
