Calling all Cro-Magnon':s, Homo-sapiens and Paleolithic triathletes! Or as we like to call you, “Homo-Troglodytes! Caveman Triathlon is a North Texas Tradition since 4 B.C.! This “Loin Cloth Loving” event is perfect for beginners to athletes wanting a time trial event as well as triathaladytes and accountants.

• Participant Gear: All participants will receive a S/S custom tech shirt.
• Socks: A pair of our famous DAR socks.
• Finisher's Medal: Receive a trophy for your achievements!

🏃‍♀️ 5K Caveman Run/Walk

SECOND YEAR 5K CAVEMAN RUN/WALK - We added a 5K this year. It will be the same 5K course as the triathlon. Come join the FUN!

🌧️ Weather Policy

• Start Time Delay: In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour.
• Course Changes: Past this time, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
• Event Cancellation: If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled.
• Race Director Discretion: Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
