Caveman Triathlon Overview

Calling all Cro-Magnon’s, Homo-sapiens and Paleolithic triathletes! Or as we like to call you, “Homo-Troglodytes! Caveman Triathlon is a North Texas Tradition since 4 B.C.!. This “Loin Cloth Loving” event is perfect for beginners to athletes wanting a time trial event as well as triathaladytes and accountants.

Race Swag

• Inclusions: All participants will receive a S/S custom tech shirt.
• Additional Gear: A pair of our famous DAR socks.
• Finisher's Medal: Each participant will earn a medal upon completion.

Fourth Year 5K Caveman Run/Walk

It will be the same 5K course as the triathlon. Come join the FUN!

Weather Policy

• Inclement Weather: The start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour.
• Course Modifications: If conditions turn unsafe, the event course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
• Cancellation: The event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Understanding: We appreciate your understanding of these policies and your participation.

Additional Information

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions. Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions.
