Caveman Triathlon Overview

Calling all Cro-Magnon's, Homo-sapiens and Paleolithic triathletes! Or as we like to call you, “Homo-Troglodytes! Caveman Triathlon is a North Texas Tradition since 4 B.C.! This “Loin Cloth Loving” event is perfect for beginners to athletes wanting a time trial event as well as triathaladytes and accountants.

Race Swag

All participants will receive a S/S custom tech shirt, a pair of our famous DAR socks, and a Finisher's Medal.

Fourth Year 5K Caveman Run/Walk

It will be the same 5K course as the triathlon. Come join the FUN!

Weather Policy

• Delay: In the event of inclement weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to 1 hour.
• Course Modification: Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.
• Cancellation: If conditions turn unsafe, the event may be cancelled.
• Director's Discretion: Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

Safety and Understanding

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. Considerable amount goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions.

Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.
