Coach Cox's Kids Race by the Lake 2025

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Event Name: Coach Cox's Kids Race by the Lake
• Organizer: The Colony Parks and Recreation Department and The Colony Roadrunners Club

🎖️ Race Details

• Ages: Children ages 9 and under will compete in a half mile race.
• Distance: Children ages 10-12 run a one mile course.
• Incentives: All participants will receive a ribbon and goody bag.
• T-shirts: Race t-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registered participants.

⏰ Schedule

• Race Start Time: The races will begin promptly at 8:00am.
• Arrival Time: We recommend that ALL participants arrive at Stewart Creek Park no later than 7:30am.
• Access Closure: Vehicle access to the park will be closed at 7:45am.
• Warm-up: There will be an organized warm-up for all participants at 7:30am.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Pickup Dates: Packet pick up will be Thursday 4/10 and Friday 4/11 from 6:30am - 9pm.
• Location: The Colony Recreation Center, 5151 N Colony Blvd The Colony.
• Race Day: Any packets not picked up will be available on race day for pickup.
• Results: Results will be calculated and presented as soon as possible following the conclusion of the last race.
