The Trudge 5K commemorates the 3 miles The Healing Place of New Hanover County clients walk every day in their recovery journey. Join us February 1, 2025 to celebrate The Healing Place's one year anniversary by walking or running a 5K.

After your 5K, stay for the big TWO YEAR celebration which includes free food (brunch), live music, community vendors, and more. Brunch includes fruit, yogurt, and breakfast sandwiches.

🅿️ Parking

• Available: Parking is available at The Healing Place of New Hanover County.
• Overflow: Overflow parking is available across the street at Delaney Radiology.

📝 To Register

• Register Online: Registration is available online by clicking on the Sign Up button in the top right.
• Register At The Race: We suggest you register online. Online registration does not close until the race starts. Those who register at the race will be asked to scan a QR code with their phones to register digitally.

The Healing Place of New Hanover County truly is where hope is found. We provide food, shelter, clothing, and recovery services at no cost to the client. All a person has to have is a desire to get sober. We opened February 1, 2023 and have helped nearly 1,000 people withdraw from drugs and alcohol and have admitted nearly 800 people into our long-term residential recovery program. Every dollar raised by THPNC impacts a person either struggling with homelessness or active addiction.
