This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

🏅 Race Distances

• Kids Dash: This event is for our little Yetis and is typically about a 50-meter dash. Designed for kids 10 and under, this is not timed and includes a tee shirt, race medal, and exclusive Kids Dash recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Our 1 mile race is designed for all ages and experience levels. This event is not chip-timed and includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: Our 5K race will take you 3.11 miles through the course and is chip-timed, featuring trophies for overall female and male finishers.
• 10K: Our 10K race will take you 6.22 miles and is chip-timed as well. Trophies for both male and female finishers will be awarded.

DJ Sasquatch will be on hand to keep the energy high with a fantastic playlist, ensuring that you’re motivated and pumped throughout your run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just out for a fun day, the lively beats will add an extra bounce to your step.

🎭 Costume Contest

The costume contest at the Turkey Shuffle is going to be a spectacular highlight you won’t want to miss! Unleash your creativity and dazzle us with your most fabulous Thanksgiving-themed outfit. Contestants will have a chance to win an impressive Trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for 2 free future races, a $40 HEB gift card to enhance your Thanksgiving feast, and a special Bigfoot Running Company Swag Pack filled with cool goodies.

👕 Participant Experience

Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event. Awesome medals, cool tees, high-energy staff, and live awards are just a part of the experience. Snacks and refreshments will be available when you finish at the race rally tent. Our DJ will be playing all the hits, and all award winners will be recognized for their accomplishments.

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:55am: Kids Dash (Meet at the Start Line)
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Results: Live and available at the Registration tent immediately following your finish!

🤗 Volunteer Opportunities

Sign up under the "VOLUNTEER" tab on the top menu to assist during the race. Volunteers earn an Bigfoot race shirt, souvenir race medal, VIP race access, and have the choice of a free race entry to a future event or a $20 pre-paid digital gift card. Roles vary from Course Monitors to Finish Line Helpers.

📢 Final Notes

Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold. Packet pickup is always offered for 1.5 hours before the event start time, and participants should expect a mix of course surfaces, including pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
