This November, lace up your running shoes and join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a delightful race set amidst the serene beauty of Texas parks and greenbelts. As autumn paints the landscape with vibrant hues and the Texas heat takes a brief respite, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the stunning fall colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience.

🏅 Race Distances

• Kids Dash: Designed for children aged 10 and under, approximately 50 meters. Includes a tee shirt, race medal, and recognition pin.
• 1 Mile: Suitable for all ages and experience levels. Includes a tee shirt and race medal.
• 5K: A chip-timed 3.11-mile run with awards for overall and age categories.
• 10K: A chip-timed 6.22-mile race, with awards for overall and age categories.

• DJ: DJ Sasquatch will provide high-energy music to keep participants motivated.
• Costume Contest: Dress up in your best Thanksgiving-themed costume for a chance to win prizes.

📅 Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
• 8:55am: Kids Dash starts
• 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!
• Results: Live at the Registration tent immediately after finishing.

🚀 Volunteer Opportunities

Join us in creating an amazing event! Volunteers can receive a custom chip-timed bib, a soft tee, and a finisher medal. Various roles include course monitoring, water station setup, finish line assistance, and more. Volunteers arrive at the event 1.5 hours before start time and check in at the registration tent.

• Weather: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
• Packet Pickup: Always offered 1.5 hours before the event start time.
• Course Surface: Expect paved trails, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
• Shirt Guarantee: Cutoff is 10 days out from the event.
