The Hybrid Runner Foundation 4th Annual Turkey Trot 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Hybrid Runner Foundation is proud to support the Cleburne community of up-and-coming runners by donating the race proceeds to the Cleburne High School Cross Country and Track Teams. We are a non-profit organization under the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Code Section 501(c)(3). Proceeds from the race will go directly to fund shoes, equipment, uniforms, and general team needs so these young, aspiring runners have all the tools to compete at their best.

Last year, our family of runners were thrilled to have a top-notch race in their backyard! We loved the energy, and it was the perfect way to kick off Thanksgiving Break. We hosted over 400 participants and aim to increase these numbers in 2025!

Join us for our 4th Annual Hybrid Runner Foundation Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk, which benefits the Cleburne Yellow Jacket XC and track teams.

🎉 Event Highlights

• Finishers Medals: 5K Finishers Medals will be awarded to all participants who cross the finish line.
• Mascot Race: Join us for a fun Mascot Race to the Finish Line.
• Sponsored Booths: Enjoy giveaways at various Sponsor Booths.
• Prizes: Compete for the Best Turkey Costume, Biggest Team, and Best Decorated Booth.

🌧️ Race Day Information

Our race will take place rain or shine. For your safety, headphones are discouraged during the race. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. Strollers are permitted: however, for the safety of the other participants, we ask that you begin the race at the back of the group.

💰 Registration Information

(This is a 5-kilometer event = 3.1 miles)

• Pre-Registration Fees: Now through 9/13/25 - $25.00
• Registration Fees: 9/14/25-11/21/25 - $30.00
• Last Minute Registration: 11/22/25-Day of Event - $35.00.
• Team Discount: Teams of 10 or more will receive a $5.00 discount per person if registered by 11/21/25.

🏆 Awards

• Plaques: 1st Overall Male & Female, 1st Master (40 & Over), 1st Senior (60 & Over).
• Trophies: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group.
• Team Awards: 1 trophy to the largest team, largest school team, largest corporate/business team.
• Special Awards: 1 trophy to the person who traveled the farthest.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

• Early Packet Pickup: Friday, November 21, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Hulen Park under the Pavilion.
• Race Day Pickup: Saturday, November 22nd from 6:30am CST - 7:45am CST.
• Participants: Are welcome to register during packet pickup.
• Race Day Schedule: Pre-race announcements start at 7:45 a.m., and the 5K Race/Walk starts at 8:00 a.m.
