The Race 2025 is here, and we’re ready to celebrate ENDURANCE like never before! Year 8 is all about building on the LEGACY established in 2018—eight years of not just conquering miles on the pavement, but also strengthening our community, prioritizing wellness, and driving economic empowerment. We’re continuing to create space for Black runners and walkers to push boundaries, support one another, and invest in the future together.

• Thursday, October 2nd: Welcome Night
• Friday, October 3rd: The Race Expo, Packet Pick Up, & Meet & Greet
• Saturday, October 4th: The Race Half Marathon + 5K
• Sunday, October 5th: Community Impact Service Day + The Race 2025 Day Party!

🌍In-Person Registration Includes

• Participation Package: The Race participant shirt, medallion, commemorative race bib, & patch
• Event Access: Access to The Race Expo, Social & Speaker Events
• Race Timing: Chipped timed Half Marathon & 5K road race
• Charitable Contribution: Contribution to The Race Charitable Impact Fund

📝Planning and Updates Timeline

• Transfer Policy: All registrations are transferable, however NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Packet Pick-Up: All packets must be picked up at The Race Expo on Friday, October 3rd.
• Virtual Transfer Deadline: Deadline to transfer your race to Virtual is September 30th at midnight.
• Race Retreat: Add The Race Retreat experience to your registration.

• November 29th: Black Friday Registration Opens - $68 Half - $28 5K
• November 30th - January 20th: $75 Half - $35 5K
• January 21st - July 31st: $79 Half - $39 5K
• August 1st - August 31st: $90 Half - $45 5K

✨About The Race

In November of 2017, The Race presented by The Unity Collective Kickstarter campaign to #BackTheRace was announced. Throughout the 6 week campaign, over 700 runners/walkers/supporters eagerly made history by becoming backers to kickstart the funding and vision of The Race.

October 3-6th The Race 2019 #Impact + #Elevate was successfully executed!

❤️Charitable Impact

The Race Foundation is the philanthropic arm of The Race. The Race Foundation, through its activities and giving, empower, support, and uplift Charitable Partners and Small Businesses Partners, with an emphasis on partners representing Black people and underserved communities in the realm of health, wellness, and access to health & wellness resources.

• Service Projects: Organized in partnership with local charities and organizations.
• Business Exposure: Curate a robust expo featuring small and Black-Owned businesses.
• Community Events: Conclude with a Charitable Impact Service Project and Wrap Up Party.
• Donation Contribution: $5 of EVERY race registration fee will go into a Charitable Impact Fund.
