• Registration & Packet Pick-Up: 7:30 a.m.
• 1 mi start: 8:30 a.m.
• 5K start: 9 a.m.
• Winner announcements: 9:45 a.m.

This event is likely to sell out, so secure your spot by registering early! Carpooling is encouraged!

Prices:

• 5K: $35 thru April 12, then $40
• 1 mi: $25 thru April 12, then $30

5K Awards:

• Top 3: Male and Female Overall
• Top 3 in age category: 19 & under
• Top 3 in age category: 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

What You Get:

• Race shirt: Guaranteed through Monday, April 20. Sizes are subject to availability after the 20th.
• Post-race refreshments: included

About Friendship APL:

Friendship APL is a private, independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit humane society founded in Elyria, Ohio in 1957. We own and operate the largest animal shelter in Lorain County.

Mission Statement:

We are dedicated to ensuring that no animal should suffer without the basic necessities to live a healthy life, providing the education to promote and nurture the human/animal bond and treating all those who seek our help with kindness, dignity, and respect.

Funding:

Friendship APL receives no government funding. We depend on the generosity and financial support of friends and neighbors, and on various fundraisers, to serve the people and animals of Lorain County.

Dog Participation Guidelines:

We ask that those running with dogs start towards the back and please keep your dogs on a short leash. The race route is out and back so we will need all participants to be aware of runners coming back on the other side of the trail.
