🏃♂️ Event Overview
LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.
📅 History of the Race
- Inception: The Mug Run series started in 1993.
- Initial Participants: The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.
- Expansion: Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public.
- Growth: Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.
🤝 Community Engagement
The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.
💰 Registration Information
- Pricing: Race day pricing increases to $40 so make sure to sign up early.
- Race Day Perk: Each runner will receive a T-shirt on race day.
